Commercial Roof replacement
A commercial roof replacement is a major investment that requires careful planning and consideration. It is important to choose a reputable contractor with experience in commercial roofing, as well as a high-quality roofing material that will provide long-lasting protection for your business. It is also essential to consider the cost and return on investment of different roofing options, as well as any potential tax credits or incentives that may be available. By properly maintaining and completing a commercial roof replacement, you can ensure the safety and longevity of your business.
At KISH it is important to us that our clients are informed and understand the importance of our services. The roof makes up about 30% of a commercial building. However, it protects 100% of its assets. Therefore, it is one of the most important investments a business owner can make. The roof protects the people and products inside a building from elements such as rain, wind, snow, hail, and other debris, such as tree branches. When a roof becomes damaged it can be shown in different ways, you can see puddling on the roof’s surface or leaks in the ceiling. There are times when the damages to the roof can be repaired. But sometimes, it makes more sense to perform a commercial roof replacement because it will save money over time as it won’t need repairs. 4 reasons to get a
Commercial Roof Inspection
1. Knowledge
Commercial roofs have a much longer life expectancy than their residential counterparts, 25 to 50 years. This typically leads to longer time periods between inspections but its important for commercial property owners to know the state of their property’s roof.
2. Prevention
When a commercial roof gives out the damage can be very costly. Not only can repair costs add up, but damage to the roof can lead to damaged products, downtime if the building needs to be closed for repairs, and a loss in potential earnings.
3. Exterior Components
A Commercial Roof Inspection does not only include the roof. It also includes exterior components like the walls, fascia, flashings, expansion joints, and drainage system.
4. Interior Componenets
When a Commercial Roof inspection is being done you might see us start inside the building. The ceiling is typically where water leaks are noticed. By knowing where the leak ends we can figure out where it started. During the inspection we will look over the interior roof deck, ceilings, and interior walls.

5 signs for commercial roof replacement
1. Age
The age of your roof is a good indicator of whether it needs to be replaced. Most commercial roofs have a lifespan of 20-40 years, depending on the type of roof and the weather conditions in your area. If your roof is approaching or has exceeded this age, it may be time to consider a commercial replacement.
2. Wear and Tear
Regular wear and tear can take a toll on a roof, and if you notice any tears, cracks, or missing shingles, it may be time to replace your roof.
3. Water Damage
If you have a leaky roof or notice water stains on your ceiling, this could be a sign of a more serious problem. Water damage can lead to structural issues and mold, which can be costly to repair. When the damage is too severe a complete commercial roof replacement might be in order as it can save time and money!
4. Sagging
If your roof is sagging or appears to be drooping, this could be a sign of a structural issue that requires commercial roof replacement.
5. Energy Bills
If you’ve noticed a sudden increase in your energy bills, it could be due to a poorly insulated or damaged roof. A new roof can improve the energy efficiency of your building and save you money on energy costs in the long run.
It’s always a good idea to have a professional roofing contractor assess the condition of your roof to determine if a commercial roof replacement is necessary. They can provide you with a detailed evaluation and recommend the best course of action.

Do you work with Commercial Insurance?
Absolutely from start to finish. During our initial consultation we would take lots of pictures and annotate the damage that we see. An inspection report will be sent to your insurance when requested. Once they finalize their scope of work for the project we would need to revise it to make sure that they noted everything we did in our initial report. Although we are NOT insurance adjusters and can not make promises on what will be covered by insurance we would do our best to document everything we see during the roof inspection to make the process easier for both property owners and insurance agents.
